Fyxer ranked #9 on Sifted's AI 100 startups reshaping Europe. This recognition comes on the heels of our $30M Series B funding round in September. It further validates our approach to inbox management which saves professionals at least an hour a day, with a 90% user-retention rate after 3 months.
Sifted's inaugural list combines data-driven analysis with expert evaluation to spotlight startups tackling complex challenges. The range of sectors is vast - everything from biotech and robotics to enterprise productivity through AI email assistants.
It isn’t about who raised the most capital. Instead, Sifted's judges (including editorial leadership and intelligence analysts, alongside sponsor N47) prioritized boldness, originality and momentum.
To qualify for the AI 100, startups needed to meet strict criteria:
The average company that made the list was founded in 2022 and employs just 75 people.
For years, Europe watched breakthrough tech waves arrive from other sides of the world. But AI is different. Europe has serious advantages in this race: world-class research institutions, deep industrial expertise and a growing entrepreneurial culture.
“AI is a transformative technology perfectly suited to our industrial backbone."
- Jeannette zu Fürstenberg, Head of Europe at General Catalyst
According to Sifted's report, 2025 has been an exceptional year for AI funding. VCs have invested almost $200bn into AI startups globally, setting new records. In Europe, 52 of the 100 companies have raised funding this year. Investor-optimism looks set to continue into 2026:
"There are epic companies to be built here in Europe and we need to focus on playing our own game."
- Michael Stothard, Principal at Firstminute Capital
Collectively, these European startups have raised €4.4bn from 716 investors. London is home to 33 companies on the list, followed by Paris (15), Berlin (12) and Munich (6). The UK, Germany and France together account for 76% of the list.
Fyxer tackles the problem millions of professionals face daily: email overload. Our AI email assistant saves users one hour every day by organizing inboxes, drafting replies in their tone, and capturing meeting notes with automatic follow-ups.
Since launching in 2023, we've built a product that's already being used across industries where time equals money. Real estate currently makes up 40% of our revenue, and we're one of the highest-ranked European startups on Andreessen Horowitz's annual list of the most-used tools on the internet.
Rich Hollingsworth, our co-founder and CEO, told Sifted that churn is everything:
"Revenue is a vanity metric. What we know is that 80% of the AI market value lies in just 20% of the companies. If your client retention rate is strong, you're in the 20%."
Around 90% of Fyxer users are still active three months after signing up.
Being recognized as one of Europe's top 10 AI startups validates our approach: build a product people can't live without, and growth follows. But recognition raises expectations.
In the months ahead, we're focused on:
We're competing in a market where speed matters, but retention matters more. Our goal isn't just to grow fast. It's to build a tool that redefines how we use email.
