Fyxer placed 7th in Andreessen Horowitz's (a16z) top 50 AI Apps. Working with Mercury, a16z has established the AI Application Spending Report, which analyzed spend data from over 200,000 startup customers between June and August 2025.
The timing matters. This ranking came at the same time as Fyxer announced its $30M Series B, led by Madrona with participation from Lakestar Capital. The report provides independent validation of what our growth already showed: AI-powered email management and meeting intelligence have become essential infrastructure for how companies work.
Fyxer's ARR grew from $1M at the start of 2025 to over $17M by August 2025. This makes us one of the fastest growing AI productivity companies in history. The Mercury data shows this growth isn't isolated. It reflects a broader shift in how startups are building their operations from day one.

The Mercury report identified meeting support as a major category within horizontal AI applications, meaning tools that boost productivity across an entire company. Fyxer led this group, followed by Happyscribe (#36), Plaude (#38), Otter AI (#41), and Read AI (#49).
Meeting tools are no longer just for specific teams. They've become horizontal products that anyone in a company can use, similar to how creative tools and vibe coding platforms have expanded beyond their original functions.
This matches what we're seeing at Fyxer. Our customers range from real estate brokers at eXp Realty and Knight Frank to recruiters and consultants. They’re professionals who need to capture context, draft responses, and follow up without dedicated support staff.
Unlike rankings based on web traffic, Mercury's list reflects actual money changing hands. The report tracked where early-stage companies are investing their AI budgets, providing a real-time signal of which products are solving problems that matter.
Horizontal products made up 60% of the list. The remaining 40% were vertical applications targeting specific roles or industries.
The top three spots went to OpenAI (#1), Anthropic (#2), and Replit (#3). General LLM assistants dominated early rankings, suggesting the race for AI workspaces isn't settled yet.
Nearly 70% of companies on the list started as individual products that people could adopt without enterprise licenses. Twelve companies appeared on both this enterprise ranking and Mercury's Consumer Top 100.
The shift from consumer to enterprise is happening in months, not years. Products that excel at product-led growth can now serve enterprise use cases almost immediately, driven by urgent demand for AI-powered efficiency tools.
Fyxer's 90% retention rate after three months reflects this dynamic. When individual users find value, they bring the product to their teams. When teams see results, they expand usage across their organization.
